Reed excels at football (quarterback) and basketball (guard) and will play both for the Warriors.

In late June, Reed updated his current city on Facebook to Huber Heights and changed his high school to Wayne. He enrolled at Wayne mid-month.

Last year as a freshman, Reed appeared in four varsity football games for Centerville. He ran for 76 yards on 13 attempts. He played in one varsity basketball game.

The last two QBs at Wayne – Braxton Miller (Ohio State) and Javon Harrison (Toledo) – have each earned D-I scholarships.
