Noteworthy News: Longtime head coach John Magistro (led Bellaire to two state finals) added a feather in his cap last year by leading Westerville Central to its first playoff berth in school history and its first winning season since 2006. For an encore the Warhawks want to win a playoff game. WC received a boost when former Upper Arlington QB Jared Drake transferred in. Drake was second team All-OCC at UA last year. He listed Westerville Central as his home school during Ohio State’s advanced camp in June.

Schedule: Three new teams in Hilliard Bradley, Hilliard Darby and Worthington Kilbourne.

Coach’s Quotes: “After accomplishing a few firsts last season, that’s something we want to use as a team builder and make sure it’s not a one time achievement.”
