*Jaylen Funches, 6’5″ 295 OT/DT
One of the most dominant linemen in the region, Has offers at Syracuse, Toledo, Ohio, Western Michigan and Akron.

*Peter Cvijanovich, 6’5″ 275 OT/DT
DI-caliber and a starter throughout his junior year, matched up with top level talent last season showed his ability to be a top lineman.

*Dan Piascik, 6’0″ 175 QB/DB
Threw for almost 1,600 yards and 11 TDs as a junior and is a capable runner as well. Has great command of system.

*Jovon Dawson 6’0″ 170 DB/WR
Big-play DB with great speed and strength. Is receiving some MAC interest and will also contribute as a wide-out.

Unable to play last year due to transfer rules, has the potential to become one of the top receivers in the region.

Played significant minutes as a sophomore, will be a key receiver who has great hands.

*Robbie Cramer 6’0″ 170 Safety/LB
Three-sport athlete, will be a core part of the defense after playing primarily on special teams as a sophomore.

Noteworthy News: Benedictine will practice on a brand-new synthetic turf field that will mark the first time in school history that a team has been able to have an on-campus field. While no varsity games will be played there this season, there will be Freshmen and JV games.

Schedule: Benedictine opens the season against Boardman and Steubenville. That’s prep for the NCL slate.
