I know Scoutingohio.com’s Mark Porter likes Dayton Christian senior RB Heath Harding (5-10, 175). And that speaks volumes. When Mark likes a small school prospect you know the player is good. Ohio U thinks so too.

Another day, another Insider. Enjoy…

OHIO HIGH SCHOOL INSIDER

*Small school back gets first offer: I know Scoutingohio.com’s Mark Porter likes Dayton Christian senior RB Heath Harding (5-10, 175). And that speaks volumes. When Mark likes a small school prospect you know the player is good. Ohio U thinks so too. The Bobcats were the first to offer Harding, which they did this past week.

DC is by no means a football power, but the still infant program (only had a varsity program for four years) will compete for its first playoff berth this season thanks in part to Harding who should post monster numbers.

Since starting as a freshman, Harding has nearly 5,000 total yards, including 2,902 on the ground. He’s also accounted for 62 TDs (48 rushing, eight receiving, six returns).
Porter and Ohio U aren’t alone in their accessment of Harding.

Said DC head coach David Amlin: “Next to Josh Betts (Vandalia-Butler/Miami (Ohio)/Indianapolis Colts), Heath Harding is the best kid I have coached in 34 years.”
