Defensively, Somers (52 tackles), Thompson (46 tackles, six sacks) and Long (56 tackles) will key a unit that will be the team’s strength early.

Coaches Quote:
“We will have to overcome some inexperience on the offensive side of the ball early in the season, but feel with our returning lineman and Dan Kwait that we will be ok. Defensively, we return 7 starters off the successful 2011 squad. Potentially, we could start 10 guys who started somewhere on that side of the ball for multiple games in 2011. Last season, we achieved alot of great things, but feel we have some unfinished business within the league and in the post season. We are looking to build on 2011 and make 2012 even better.”
