Week 2 is road trip to West Virginia power Brooke. SC opens Buckeye 8 play Week 4 on the road at playoff qualifier Indian Creek and is at archrival Harrison Central (compete for the annual Coal Bucket trophy) in Week 5. A Week 9 Buckeye 8 clash with fellow Region 15 playoff qualifier Martins Ferry looms.

Coaches Quote: “Our 2012 Team has more returning starters than a year ago when we won 10 games. Those numbers would lead one to believe we could have success again this fall. However, I know this group must make their own decisions, which will impact what kind of team they are and the result of their season. We are gonna have less depth early in the season than we did a year ago and it’s paramount that some young guys step up and we stay healthy in the pre-season.”
