Talk about a turnaround. The Red Devils suddenly have two D-I prospects heading into 2012.

Sophomore LB/TE Michael Ferns is becoming one of the state’s most sought after underclassmen and already holds offers from Notre Dame, Virginia, Duke, Wake Forest and Marshall.

In addition to Ferns, junior WR/DB Dan Monteroso picked up his first offer this week from Ohio University. Monteroso doubles as a basketball star and was the leading scorer on this year’s D-II state semifinalist team.

Expectations will be high for the Red Devils this fall.
