The OHSFCA has releassed its updated Big 33 roster and there have been some significant changes. Four new players have been added to the 34-man roster, which will compete against Pennsylvania’s finest on June 16. See who is defending Ohio’s honor…

OHIO HIGH SCHOOL INSIDER

*Big 33 roster updates: Originating in 1957, the PNC Big 33 Football Classic is one of the nation’s finest scholastic All-Star Football Games showcasing Pennsylvania and Ohio ‘s outstanding high school football talent. Now entering its 55th year, the classic is often described as “The Super Bowl of High School Football.” The rivalry will continue in 2012 with Pennsylvania and Ohio tied in the overall series at 12 wins each.

 The 55th game will be on Saturday, June 16, 2012 with kick off at 7:07 p.m. at Hersheypark in Hershey, Pa.

As for whose suiting up for Ohio, there have been some changessince the last roster was released on March 14.

At quarterback, Dover’s Derek Swinderman is replacing Canton McKinley’s Tyler Foster.

On the offensive line, Watkins Memorial’s Reno Reda and Aurora’s Troy Watson are replacing Sycamore’s A.J. Williams and Oak Hills’ Caleb Stacey.

Norwayne LB Adam Wallace has been added as well, rounding out the 34-man roster (an extra spot was added years ago to make way for a kicker).
