When asked to name the most impressive player on his team at the OHSFCA North-South Classic last Friday, Sycamore senior and Michigan-bound offensive lineman A.J. Williams responded with: “Armani Miller. That guy can definitely go get the ball.”

Miller, a senior at Huber Heights Wayne, did more than that at the North-South Classic. He also snagged some respect.

The Toledo-bound Miller caught three passes for 53 yards against the North, including a 19-yard TD late in the fourth quarter.

The praise came afterwards.

“Armani Miller…He was the best player on our team,” Lima Central Catholic senior and Michigan State QB commit Ty O’Connor said. “You saw it there on that last drive. When he got a little anger in him he put some moves on and got right past his man.

“On that TD pass he had a switch corner and he stuck his foot inside and went right outside and the guy didn’t have a chance. I thought he played the best.”

Miller was a two-time Greater Western Ohio Conference first team All-Conference selection at Wayne.
