Centerville four-star offensive tackle Evan Lisle knew where he was headed to college six days ago when Ohio State offered a scholarship.

On Tuesday evening, the 6-foot-5, 260-pound Lisle made it official, committing to Buckeyes head coach Urban Meyer and his staff.

“Once I got that offer, I felt confident it was the choice for
me,” Lisle said. He chose Ohio State over his second choice Notre Dame.
“I feel like I’ve made the right decision.”

Lisle is the fifth pledge for Ohio State in the 2013 class, joining five-star athlete Jalin Marshall, four-star defensive lineman Billy Price and four-star defensive backs Cameron Burrows and Eli Woodard.

“I really like what Ohio State has to offer,” Lisle said. “I like
everything about Ohio State. I felt like it was the right time. I just
love everything about the school. I was talking to Coach Meyer today and
I was like, what am I waiting on?”

Lisle spoke with both Meyer and offensive line coach Ed Warinner.

“They were real excited,” Lisle recapped. “They talked to my
parents and I’m going down there Friday to see more. It’s going to be
fun.”

Ranked as the nation’s No. 25 offensive tackle overall, Lisle
also held offers from the likes of Alabama, Miami, Ole Miss, Nebraska,
Oklahoma and West Virginia.
