Pickerington Central four-star outside linebacker Taco Charlton confirmed with 247Sports he committed to Michigan during his Saturday visit to Ann Arbor.

The 6-foot-6, 245-pound Charlton chose the Wolverines over offers
from the likes of Notre Dame, Cincinnati, Iowa, Nebraska, Ole Miss,
North Carolina, Syracuse and UCLA.

“You can’t pass something like Michigan up after seeing it,” Charlton said. “It’s everything you want in a college.”

Ranked as the nation’s No. 9 outside linebacker and No. 143
prospect overall, Charlton is the sixth four-star pledge of the day for
the Wolverines, joining four-star offensive linemen Chris Fox, Kyle
Bosch and David Dawson, and four-star cornerback Jourdan Lewis and
four-star fullback Wyatt Shallman.

“It’s crazy.” Charlton said. “The coaches were going crazy. I’m just excited to be a part of the big family now.”
