Ohio is a highly passionate and competitive state when it comes to high school wrestling. And this year promises to be no different. Below we take a look at the state’s top wrestlers and several you’ll hear about this winter.

Ohio is always a highly passionate and competitive state when it comes to high school wrestling. And this year promises to be just as heated.

Heading into the 2011-2012 season, there are 21 Ohio wrestlers ranked nationally in the Amatuer Wrestling News (AWN) Preseason Rankings. Below we take a look at those wrestlers and several more whose names you’ll hear plenty this season.

And keep in mind…The new weight classes will make some things interesting as wrestlers work to find the right spot. And remember, this is just a watch list. Wrestlers are not ranked/listed in any particular order.
