If you were one of the many recruits at the Buckeyes’ thrilling last
second 33-29 victory over Wisconsin in Ohio Stadium on Saturday night,
it would be hard not to get caught up in the excitement and atmosphere.

Certainly
Upper Arlington offensive tackle James
Henry
was.

“It was a great game,” Henry said. “The atmosphere – nothing
compares to that.”

The 6-foot-8 and 265-pound Henry has had an outstanding senior
season. He has played quick tackle as the Golden Bears have gone 8-2 and
qualified for the playoffs for the first time in three years.

Henry played for Madison Plains his sophomore and junior seasons.
He transferred to Upper Arlington during the summer and also committed
to Toledo in June. However, the Buckeyes have called him twice recently
and last night’s game did nothing but heighten his interest in Ohio
State.

“Besides the fan base, I liked the way the coaches interacted
with the recruits,” Henry said. “Coach (Luke) Fickell is a nice guy.
Coach (Mike) Vrabel, coach (Jim) Bollman, I talked to pretty much all
the coaches. We talked about my game, their games and how they are going
to keep in touch with me.”

The Buckeyes have not offered Henry a scholarship to this point
nor asked him to make an official visit. But one or both of those things
could happen.

“Yeah, I’m sure I would do that,” Henry said when asked if he
would make an official visit to Ohio State if the opportunity presented
itself.”

Kurelic’s Comment: Everything I am hearing is that the
Buckeyes’ interest in Henry is very real and growing. After Jordan Diamond,
Nick Davidson
and Alex Kozan,
I am hearing Henry could be next in line.
