At this point Cincinnati LaSalle linebacker Joe Burger has scholarship offers from Miami of
Ohio and Buffalo. There is some interest from bigger
schools though. Today I have the latest on Burger’s recruitment.
Cincinnati LaSalle linebacker Joe Burger landed scholarship
offers from Miami of Ohio and Buffalo long ago. Those two schools are
still very much in the picture, but Burger has had a very good senior
season and is drawing interest from some bigger schools.
The 6-foot-2 and 230-pound Burger was a starter at outside linebacker
his junior season, but moved to middle linebacker this season and will
likely play that position in college.
In addition to Miami of Ohio and Buffalo, Burger says Ohio State,
Notre Dame and Cincinnati are among the schools also showing interest.
“I’m still looking at Miami and Buffalo,” Burger said. “But I’m also
looking at Ohio State, Notre Dame, Harvard and Cincinnati.”
Burger attended the USC at Notre Dame game this past weekend and will
go to the Wisconsin at Ohio State game this weekend. He has visited
