& JJHuddle Division II Power Poll: Week 10

1. Trotwood-Madison (9-0, R8)
Ashton Jackson and Darion Heath each ran for two TDs as the Rams beat winless Sidney 48-6. Trotwood led 34-0 at half. The Rams can win their fourth straight outright GWOC North title with a win over host Vandalia Butler (6-3) this week.

2. Kings (9-0, R8)
The Knights forced three turnovers and held Wilmington to 153 total yards in a 37-7 win. Junior DT Brady Vanover led the charge with two forced fumbles, a fumble recovery and a sack. Junior K Evan Berg added three FGs and four PATs. Kings hosts Turpin (7-2) this week.

3. Howland (9-0, R5)
The Tigers beat Youngstown Liberty 48-6 to end the regular season undefeated. Howland has a bye in Week 10 and will play next in the first round of the R5 playoffs.

4. Maple Heights (8-0, R6)
The Mustangs shut out Bedford 22-0. This week MH closes the regular season with its stiffest test to date – a visit from undefeated Cleveland Heights (8-0).

5. Marion-Franklin (9-0, R7)
The Red Devils clinched the No. 1 seed in the R7 playoffs with a 30-20 win over Eastmoor. Junior QB Corry Benson tossed three TD passes and M-F scored all 30 of its points in the second quarter. The Red Devils close the regular season at winless Columbus South (0-9).

6. Avon (9-0, R6)
The Eagles beat Midview (14-10) in consecutive years for the first time ever and won their second straight West Shore Conference title. Avon closes the regular season with a huge game against visiting Mentor Lake Catholic (8-1).

7. Walsh Jesuit (7-1, R5)
The Warriors rushed for 242 yards and four TDs in a 42-15 win over Padua Franciscan. Next up is a visit from Notre Dame-Cathedral Latin (5-4).

8. Aurora (8-1, R5)
The Greenmen scored 26 points in the first quarter en route to a 68-7 win over Painesville Harvey. Next up is a visit from Kenston (6-3).

9. Wapakoneta (9-0, R8)
Senior RB Connor Pickens ran for four TDs as the Redskins beat Lima Shawnee 41-14. This week Wapak hosts undefeated Kenton (9-0) with the Western Buckeye League title on the line.

10. Toledo Central Catholic (7-2, R6)
The Irish beat Toledo St. Francis (20-10) for a record eighth-straight time in the schools’ 53-year rivalry. The victory also secured an eighth straight playoff berth for TCC. Sophomore QB DeShone Kizer led the way by throwing for a TD and running for another. The Irish hit the road this week for a huge test at undefeated Whitmer (9-0).
