One of the biggest offensive linemen in the Midwest attended an MAC
game last weekend and will likely go to some other MAC games the next
few weekends. He does so with five MAC offers in his back pocket.
Dayton Carroll offensive lineman Ray Marlow is a hot
commodity when it comes to MAC recruiting. The 6-foot-7 and 320-pound
Marlow, who has been a starter since the beginning of his junior season,
has scholarship offers from five MAC schools.
Marlow’s offer list is made up of Toledo, Ohio, Akron, Northern
Illinois, Ball State and Memphis.
“I went to the Ohio – Kent State game (at Ohio) last weekend,” Marlow
said. “I had a blast. The atmosphere was great. (Ohio) has a great
coaching staff. I talked to just about all the coaches including Frank
Marlow has another MAC visit in mind for this weekend.
“I’m going to try to go to the Toledo (vs Eastern Michigan) game, but
that’s not 100% sure,” Marlow said. “Other than that I’ll try to get
up to a game at Northern Illinois, but I’m not sure when. I’ll probably
go Toledo and Northern Illinois games the next few weeks. And I’ll
probably get to a Ball State game also. They called (Wednesday night).”
When asked if he will make official visits, Marlow said, “In all
honesty I don’t know. I’ll probably pick a college before I make
