“Miami, Ohio, Bowling Green, Toledo, Kent State, basically all of the
MAC schools are interested,” Sandusky senior OL/DL Michael Brown said. However, is Brown
close to committing to Eastern Michigan?
Lineman Michael Brown (Sandusky, Ohio/Sandusky) is playing very well
on both sides of the ball during his senior season and many of the MAC
schools have noticed.
The 6-foot-3 and 285-pound Brown is playing center and defensive
tackle. He is averaging six plus tackles per game with three sacks.
“I have offers from Eastern Michigan and Western Michigan as a
defensive tackle,” Brown said. “Miami, Ohio, Bowling Green, Toledo,
Kent State, basically all of the MAC schools are interested.”
Brown attended Bowling Green’s football camp in the summer and visited Western Michigan near the end of the summer.
He has been to Eastern Michigan several times and plans to make a return trip.
“I’m going to the Kent State game at Eastern Michigan,” Brown said.
“I’ll have a chance to watch both teams. If I had to commit right now
it would be Eastern Michigan. I love the coaches. If you are going to
play somewhere for four years, you need to get along with the coaches.”
However, it is not by any means a done deal Brown ends up at Eastern.
