stayed the same. There is a new name at No. 10 though…

& JJHuddle Division II Power Poll: Week 6

1. Trotwood-Madison (5-0)
The Rams forced four turnovers and racked up 541 yards of offense en route to a 37-13 win over Springfield. Sophomore RB Ashton Jackson ranf or 239 yards and two TDs n 13 carries, while junior RB Isreal Green ran for 140 yards and a TD on 20 carries. This week Trotwood hosts Piqua (3-2).

2. Kings (5-0)
The Knights held Glen Este to 152 yards in a 30-0 shutout win. Senior RB Jamire Westbrook led Kings with 189 yards and two TDs on 21 carries. This week Kings travels to Little Miami (1-4).

3. Maple Heights (5-0)
The Mustangs won their 20th straight game with a 36-6 win over East Cleveland Shaw. RB Michael Jenkins led the attack with 199 yards and four TDs on 30 carries. This week MH is at Shaker Heights (1-4).

4. Howland (5-0)
Head coach Dick Angle won his 250th career game as the Tigers beat Carrick (PA) 50-0. Junior RB De’Veon Smith had 120 yards and three TDs on just seven carries. This week Howland travels to Beaver Local (1-4).

5. Marion-Franklin (5-0)
Led by junior QB Corry Benson WHO completed 16-of-26 passes for 329 yards and six TDs, the Red Devils beat Independence 54-30. This week M-F hosts Walnut Ridge (2-3).

6. Avon (5-0)
The Eagles put the clamps on Elyria Catholic, allowing minus-2 yards rushing in a 27-16 win. Offensively junior RB Ross Douglass carried the ball 34 times for 178 yards and a TD.  Avon travels to Rocky River (3-2) this week.

7. Walsh Jesuit (3-1)
Senior QB Nick Wargo completed 17-of-27 passes for 185 yards and a TD and K Ross Martin nailed both his PAT attempts as the Warriors beat previously unbeaten Mentor Lake Catholic 14-12. Walsh blocked a MLC PAT attempt and stuffed the Cougars on a 2-point attempt to secure the win. This week Walsh heads to New York to face Buffalo (NY) Canisius (2-1).

8. Fremont Ross (4-1)
Despite their head coach (Derek Kidwell) sitting out a one-game suspension for not having his team shake hands with Toledo St. John’s following last week’s double-OT loss, the Little Giants bounced back from their first defeat to beat Lima Senior 40-17. Lima Senior managed two yards of offense in the first half. Ross led 33-0 at halftime. This week the Little Giants travel to Toledo Central Catholic (3-2).

9. Vandalia-Butler (5-0)
The Aviators forced four turnovers and senior RB Tyler Jones ran for 137 yards and three TDS on 14 carries in a 34-7 win over Miamisburg. This week Butler faces a huge test at Troy (4-1).

10. Tiffin Columbian (5-0)
The Tornadoes enter the Power Poll after beating Toledo Start 46-14. RB Jack Jacoby rushed for three TDs, while WR Jonah Boyer caught a 61-yard TD pass and returned a punt 77 yards for another score. This week Columbian travels to Bellevue (3-2).
