New Albany senior wide receiver Kevin Collins has a
scholarship offer from Bowling Green. Many other schools are showing
interest and he’s about to visit several.

“I have game invites from most of the schools in the MAC,” Collins
said.  “I’m going to a Toledo game.  I’m going to a Cincinnati game in a
couple weeks.

“I’m also looking at Miami of Ohio, Ball State, Ohio University, and
Boston College, West Virginia and Michigan State send stuff.”

The 6-foot-3 and 200-pound Collins has been a starter for New Albany
since the beginning of his sophomore season.  He helped the Eagles
finish with a 10-1 record last season with 25 receptions and five
touchdowns.  Collins has seven catches through four games this season.

Collins landed his offer from Bowling Green during the summer.

“They saw me at the Cincinnati camp in June,” Collins said.  “Then
about a month later they offered.  Coach (Stan) Watson calls me every
week.  I went up there to visit a couple weeks ago.  It was nice.”

Collins might see the Falcons play next month against another team
that is recruiting him.  He could to go to the Toledo at Bowling Green
game on Oct. 15.

When asked to name his favorite, Collins said, “Bowling Green so far.”
