After seeing some playing time on the varsity his sophomore year,
Harper is a starter at safety this season and is playing some wide
receiver.  He has helped St. John’s shoot out to a 4-0 record.  Harper
is tied for the team lead in tackles and has an interception.

Harper is drawing interest from many schools including Notre Dame,
Penn State, Michigan State, West Virginia, Virginia, Cincinnati, Duke,
Toledo, Bowling Green, Ohio University and Kent State.

Harper plans to attend the LSU at West Virginia game this Saturday
and the USC at Notre Dame game on Oct. 22.  He may attend several other
games as well.

“I’ll probably stop at a Bowling Green game,” Harper said.  “I might
see Cincinnati and I might go to a Toledo game.

“I’ve been to Toledo before.  But I’ve never gone to a game at
Bowling Green.”

However, Harper has been to Bowling Green.

“I went to Bowling Green’s (football) camp for one day,” Harper
said.  “I went with (junior defensive line teammate) Matt Miller.  Coach
(Warren) Ruggiero took us on a tour.  It was nice.”

Harper is looking for his first scholarship offer and said he does
not have a favorite school at this point.
