Offensive line recruiting has been a hot topic among Ohio State fans
that follow recruiting. There has been plenty of clamoring for more
offers to class of 2012 linemen as well as talk about the Buckeyes’
offensive line recruiting for the class of 2013.

that follow recruiting. There has been plenty of clamoring for more
offers to class of 2012 linemen as well as talk about the Buckeyes’
offensive line recruiting for the class of 2013.

A
name that could become a fixture when it comes to Ohio State offensive
line recruiting for next year is Alex Gall (Cincinnati, Ohio/Moeller).

The 6-foot-5 and 295-pound Gall started the Crusaders final
playoff game last year, though he played defensive tackle. Gall will be
Moeller’s starting offensive right tackle this coming season and will
play on offense at the next level.

Gall worked out at the Ohio State Two Day Position Camp at the end of June and showed he is a college prospect.

“It was a really nice camp,” Gall said. “It was really well run. There were a lot of people teaching you what you need to know.

And I got an offensive line MVP award.”

Gall also received positive feedback from a couple Ohio State coaches.

“I talked to Jim Bollman and John Peterson,” Gall said. “The offensive line coach told me if I keep working hard I’ll be a D-1 athlete. John Peterson said he’ll keep in touch and he’ll come down to see me play.”

Gall said he does not have a favorite school, but he is impressed with Ohio State.

“I would definitely be interested in going to Ohio State,” Gall
said. “They have tradition. No matter who the coach is they are going to
win. It’s a great school with great facilities.”

In addition to Ohio State, Gall is also hearing from Notre Dame, Boston College, Michigan, Michigan State, Duke and Cincinnati.

Kurelic’s Comment: Gall is not an OSU offer guy at this
point, but he has the potential to develop and someone Buckeye
recruiting fans should keep in mind.
