No surprise at Top Gun… the top gun was who everyone thought it would
be. Graham won seven titles and had one runner-up in cruising to the title
with 286.5 points. Massillon Perry finished second, a mere 51.5 points
back. Now the Falcons trun their attention to this weekend’s dual with St. Edward. Here’s who is facing who…


No surprise at Top Gun… the top gun was who everyone thought it would be.
Graham won seven titles and had one runner-up in cruising to the title with 286.5 points. Massillon Perry finished second, a mere 51.5 points back.

The Falcons got titles from Ryan Taylor (112), Micah Jordan (119), Nick Brascetta (140), Bo Jordan (145), Matt Stephens (152), Kyle Ryan (171) and Huston Evans (189) to go with a second place finish by Case Garrison (135).

CVCA was the top small school, finishing third while Claymont continued to have a great season with a fourth place finish.

WRESTLER OF THE WEEK

Travis McIntosh, 215, Miami Trace: McIntosh entered the Top Gun as the second seed, but came out with the big price. McIntosh claimed a thrilling 3-2 UTB win over defending state champion Logan Erb of Wapakoneta in the finals.

All eyes on St. Paris: This weekend begins the crucial stretch for the Graham Falcons as they look to unseat Apple Valley as the top high school team in the nation.
The Falcons host St. Eds Saturday before traveling to Blair Academy and then hosting Wadsworth in a crazy two week stretch.

Graham enters Saturday’s dual at home ranked first in Division II and second in the nation while St. Eds has climbed to number five in the nation and is first in the state in Division I.

The dual will have some interesting match ups among state ranked wrestlers.
