We’re heading into the holidays, which means a busy time on the mat.

While there are some key tournaments this weekend around the state – North Canton Hoover and SWOWCA Holiday – there will be some resting before the big shows begin after Christmas.

The GMVWA Holiday, Brecksville and Medina invites are all on the holiday horizon.

The Ironman sorted some things out, but a lot still depends on how rosters shape up once everyone gets down to their alpha weights.

One thing is for sure… Graham is once again a beast.

The Falcons placed eight in winning the Ironman for the second time in three years.

DIVISION I
1. Lakewood St. Edward –
Showed their mettle in finishing sixth at Ironman, ahead of Perry and Wadsworth.
2. Massillon Perry – Depth prevailed in seventh place finish at Ironman. For awhile, Perry was in the running for a spot in the top 5.
3. Wadsworth – Finished 13th at Ironman. Things may change when everyone gets to where they are going.
4. Elder – Will get a good test this weekend at SWOWCA.
5. Beavercreek – See Elder…
6. Hilliard Davidson – With all their football players back, time to get them mat ready.

8. Brecksville Broadview Heights – Fell to 32nd at Ironman, finishing two spots behind Clay.
