THIS WEEK’S TOPICS: PLAYOFF FOOTBALL ROUND 3

Is anyone playing better than Trotwood-Madison right now? Uniontown
Lake
looks to end the Rams recent run of success in the D-II
Semifinals. Can the Blue Streaks stop Trotwood?

Poor Alter?
Huh. We said the Knights would beat Kenton and they came
through – making many clutch plays down the stretch. Now the “underdog”
Knights are one win away from playing for their third straight D-IV
state title. Do they get it done against Hartley?

So much for Coldwater having a down year. The Cavaliers are
in the state semifinals for the eight time in 13 years and are looking
to make their fourth state final in six years. Undefeated Fredericktown
has other plans…who wins?

After losing 10 straight games to MAC teams over six years, Lehman
is 2-0 against the conference this season (both wins over Minster).
Do the Cavaliers make it three in a row with a win over Delphos
St. John’s
? Or do the Blue Jays make it back to their third
straight D-Vi state final?

And finally…

Can Wayne
win one more? The Warriors magical run through the postseason continues
Saturday at Welcome Stadium with a game against defending D-I state
champion Hilliard Davidson. The Warriors offense is
humming right now, but so is Davidson’s defense. Something has got to
give…

That and more…
