Whew…after several weeks of mass hysteria the JJHuddle Division III Power Poll experienced some normality this week. Nine of the Top 10 teams won and all 10 remained ranked. Talk about a change.

JJHUDDLE’S DIVISION III POWER POLL WEEK 10

1. Watterson (7-1)
The Eagles overcame four turnovers to beat St. Charles 28-21. QB Patrick Rhomberg completed 8-of-14 passes for 140 yards and two TDs and also ran for another score. The win also secured Watterson’s first Central Catholic League Silver Division title since 2006. Watterson closes the regular season this week at Uniontown Lake (7-2). Previous: 1

2. Marlington (9-0)
The Dukes 21-7 victory over Louisville on Friday was big for two reasons. One, it wrapped up at least a share of the Northeastern Buckeye Conference title. Two, it was Marlington’s first win over the Leopards since 1995 and snapped Louisville’s 25-game NBC win streak. The Dukes rushed for 336 yards. This week Marlington can record the school’s first 10-0 season by beating visiting West Branch (1-8). Previous: 3

3. Wyoming (8-1)
The Cowboys are rolling. Wyoming head coach Bernie Barre won his 310th game (and 175th at Wyoming) with  42-13 victory over North Bend Taylor. Senior QB Kyle Seyfried, in his second start back from a Week 1 injury, completed 16-of-25 passes for 390 yards and five TDs, including a school record 99-yard strike to Johnathan Tighe. This week the Cowboys are at Indian ill (3-6). Previous: 4

4. Steubenville (7-2)
Big Red bounced back from consecutive losses (for the first time since 2000) to blast visiting Buffalo (N.Y.) St. Joseph’s 59-39. Steubenville scored TDs on eight of its first 10 possessions and had 527 total yards of offense. This week Big Red hosts another New York school in Cardinal O’Hara (5-3). Previous:

5. Youngstown Mooney (5-3)
The Cardinals led archrival and D-V No. 1 Youngstown Ursuline 7-6 in the third quarter before the wheels fell off and the Irish rolled to a 44-7 win. Two interception returns for TDs hurt. This week Mooney faces another he test in visiting D-I power Cincinnati Moeller (6-3). Previous: 2

6. Eaton (9-0)
The Eagles rolled into Germantown last week and rocked to the tune of a 56-28 win over host Valley View. Junior QB Cole French had another spectacular game (threw for two TDs, ran for a TD and returned an interception for a TD). This week Eaton goes for 10-0 against visiting Preble County rival Preble Shawnee (3-6). Previous: 6

7. Licking Valley (7-2)
The Panthers led 21-0 at halftime and 35-0 after three quarters in a 35-13 victory over Columbus Academy. Sophomore RB Drew McArtor ran for two TDs and Braynt trout threw for a TD and ran for another. LV hosts Bexley (3-6) this week. Previous: 7

8. Tiffin Columbian (8-1)
The Tornados beat Upper Sandusky 48-7 thanks in part to RB Derrick Golliday. Glliday carried the ball just six times but ran for 233 yards and four TDs. This week Columbian faces winless Fostoria on the road. Previous: 8

9. Springfield Shawnee (8-1)
The Braves won their eighth straight and survived Bellefontaine 34-31. QB Brad Jarzab carried the ball 23 times for 124 yards and two TDs and also threw for 80 yards and another score. Female place kicker Carly Gregory connected on two 32-yard FGs. This week the Braves host Stebbins (1-8). Previous: 9

10. Thornville Sheridan (9-0)
The Generals recorded an impressive 45-20 win over Crooksville and earned at least a share of the Muskingum Valley League title in the process. Sheridan ran for 371 yards and held Crooksville to just 49 on 35 carries. This week the Generals host New Lexington (2-7). Previous:
