“It’s pretty close to home, so I can still visit home,” Krizancic noted. “My family and friends will be able to come watch some games as well. I really like everything about the school, the players, and the coaching staff.”

Krizancic knew what he wanted to do, but just needed a little push.

“They wanted me to decide by Sunday and I was already very close to making my decision so in a way that made it easy for me,” Krizancic mentioned.

Mentor has a team built to make another long tournament run again this season with the addition of Colin Barth along with some good kids already in the system, so for the senior guard making his college will allow him to focus on the task at hand.

“Yeah, it definitely take a lot of pressure and stress away,” stated the 1st Team All-Ohio guard. “This will let me concentrate more on this upcoming season. It feels good.”

Krizancic, who plays for his father Robert, is the second big commitment from Ohio in the past two months. The GlIAC school got a commitment from Sugarcreek Garaway’s Paul Honigford earlier this fall.
