Week 7s MVP Podcast focuses on boys basketball recruiting, the state’s
top football performances and a HUGE football game in
Columbus
pitting D-I Lakewood St. Edward versus host and D-III
power
Columbus DeSales.

JJHuddle and ohiohshoops.com guru Kurt Stubbs
is here to talk sleepers, big men, Buckeye basketball and statewide
recruiting. His famous previews are also on the docket.

In addition, DeSales assistant head coach Tim Bahen
is here to discuss the Stallions big game with St. Edward. The two
parochial powers have never met before and this game will offer plenty
of big name studs.

DeSales has a standout roster that includes junior RB Warren Ball (Ohio
State
) and senior QB Nick Gentile. BTW, will Ball play? Find out
here.

The Eagles counter with a small college team. No joke. Junior OL Kyle
Kalis has verbally committed to play for Ohio State and senior
OL Geoff Mogus is headed to Northwestern. Other St. Ed players
who have made verbal commitments include OL Fred Hilow (Holy Cross),
OL/DL Mark Horton (Ashland), OL/DL Jacob Schwertner (Pennsylvania),
DE Deonte Gibson (Pittsburgh), WR/DB Odis Prunty (Ball State),
WR/DB Avery Bailey (Ball State) and WR/DB Seth Cunningham (Akron).

It’ll be a great game, and the MVP Podcast will once again be on hand
to tape it for your viewing pleasure, and all in high
definition
. All of this, brought to you for free, courtesy of

Finally, we’ll also recap last week’s best statewide performances on
the football field!
