Ashland’s Marcus Fuller accounted for six TDs and surpassed 5,000 career passing yards in a win over Wooster.

It’s hard to believe, but it’s week 7 for Ohio football. The old saying
goes, “time flies when you’re having fun.” While I am having fun with
football, academic demands and unofficial visits, there isn’t much time
left for writing my blog

It’s hard to believe, but it’s week 7 for Ohio football. The old saying goes, “time flies when you’re having fun.” While I am having fun with football, academic demands and unofficial visits, there isn’t much time left for writing my blog. In fact, I am writing this blog in the van on I-90 on my way home from Colgate.

We left for Hamilton, NY at 11:30 p.m. on Friday night after our football game against Mansfield Senior. In order to be at Colgate at 11:00 Saturday morning we had to drive through the night.

Colgate is a school that I have an official offer from so I was excited to see the atmosphere of a game. The Raider Nation came out in force and it was good time. In recruiting, my goal has always been to find a place that values me as their top quarterback recruit.

I am the first player in the class of 2011 that Colgate has extended an official offer. It is important to see a game and meet the players before making a final decision. I need to figure out how to fly to Brown after a game and still get back to Ashland for school on Monday morning. These visits are important to me but the most important aspect of football remains my team and our season.

The Ashland Arrows currently stand at 5-1, 3-0 in the Ohio Cardinal Conference. It is another fun year for the quarterback in our spread offense. My line is protecting, the receivers are catching and I have been able to tie the school record for passing touchdowns in a game three times this year. Our team is playing well, our student section is rocking and we look forward to a great Homecoming game against Orrville Friday night.
