Few defenses in Ohio regardless of division have been as tough as Defiance Tinora’s. The Rams have posted five shutouts in six games and have allowed 18 total points. That distinction earns them a spot in this week’s JJHuddle Division VI Power Poll.

1. Youngstown Ursuline (6-0)
The Irish overwhelmed Louisville St. Thomas Aquinas 52-14. How dominant a performance was it? Ursuline had 11 different backs carry the ball and six of them accounted for eight rushing TDs. This week the Irish face their second toughest test to date as Columbus St. Charles (5-1) comes calling. Previous: 1

2. Lima Central Catholic (5-1)
Since an opening loss to Delphos St. John’s the T-Birds have trounced their foes by the combined scored of 243-19. Their latest win was a 58-6 throttling of Spencerville. LCC faces its toughest test to date since DSJ with a road game at Columbus Ready (3-3) this week. Previous: 2

3. Kirtland (6-0)
Led by senior QB Paul Ghude who tossed four TD passes, the Hornets smashed winless Burton Berkshire 55-14. A trip to Middlefield Cardinal (3-3) awaits this week. Previous: 3



4. Patrick Henry (6-0)
A week after needing OT to beat Evergreen, the Patriots survived another upset bid by outlasting Delta 15-0. Patrick Henry, which has won 26 straight regular season games, faces a tough test at Bryan (3-3) this week. The real measuring stick comes in Week 8 when the Patriots host fellow current unbeaten Archbold. Previous: 4

5. Fredericktown (6-0)
The Freddies racked up 408 yards in a 31-7 win over Johnstown-Monroe. Matt Smith led the way by rushing for 161 yards and a TD on 21 carries. Branden Smith also added a 2-yard field goal and four PATs. This week Fredericktown hosts East Knox (3-3). Previous: 5

6. North Union (6-0)
The Wildcats continue to roll. Counting their 37-7 win over River Valley last week, NU has now outscored their last three foes 156-20 and outgained them 1,306-2245 yards. Next up? Elgin (2-4). Previous: 6

7. Anna (4-2)
The Rockets rebounded from back-to-back losses to Delphos St. John’s and Marion Local by blasting New Bremen 56-20. This week Anna hosts Fort Recovery (2-4). Previous: 7

8. West Jefferson (6-0)
The Rough Riders improved to 30-1 in Mid-State League Cardinal Division games over the last five seasons with a 51-6 win over winless Fisher Catholic. QB D.J. Gray accounted for five TDs (threw for three and ran for two). This week West Jeff travels to winless Millersport. Previous: 8

9. Cuyahoga Heights (5-1)
The Redskins rebounded from their loss to Kirtland by shutting out Middlefield Cardinal 31-0. Senior RB Alec Torgerson scored three TDs as CH outgained Cardinal 454-149 in total yards. This week the Redskins travel to winless Richmond Heights. Previous: 9

10. Defiance Tinora (6-0)
The Rams make their Power Poll debut after registering their fourth straight shutout and fifth in six games with a 56-0 win over Antwerp. Tinora has given up 18 points total this year and those all came in a 37-18 win over Parkway in Week 2. This week the Rams travel to Wayne Trace (3-3). Previous: NR
