Steubenville continues to solidify its No. 1 ranking, while the rest of the teams jockey for positions. There wasn’t a ton of movement in the JJHuddle Division III Power Poll, but there was some. Click here for the complete rankings.

JJHUDDLE’S DIVISION III POWER POLL WEEK 6

1. Steubenville (5-0)
Big Red remained undefeated against West Virginia opponents since 1963, by handing previously unbeaten Morgantown (WV) a 35-7 setback. FB LeShawn Luke ran for two TDs and QB Anthony Pierro hooked up with TE Blake Carroll for two more scores. This week Steubenville hosts another West Virginia team in Wheeling Park (1-4). Previous: 1

2. Watterson (3-1)
The Eagles had the week off. This Friday they travel to Greenville (1-4). Previous: 3

3. Columbus DeSales (3-2)
The Stallions lost 24-0 on the road at undefeated St. Mary’s Prep (Mich.), which is ranked No. 2 in Michigan in D-III (Michigan has eight divisions). This week undefeated rival St. Charles awaits. Nest week D-I power St. Edward heads south for a titanic meeting in Columbus. Previous: 2

4. Youngstown Mooney (2-2)
The Cardinals had the week off and will try to snap a two-game losing skid when they host Athol Springs (NY) St. Francis (1-3) this week. Previous: 4

5. Akron SVSM (4-1)
After two close ones, the Irish had a little bit of a “breather” in a 20-0 win over Akron Hoban. SVSM was led by Sae’von Fitzgerald who rushed for 185 yards on 32 carries. Defensively the Irish held Hoban to 34 yards of total offense on 33 plays. Wow. This week SVSM hosts Akron Garfield (2-3).  Previous: 5

6. Marlington (5-0)
Alden Hill rushed for four TDs and Dymonte Thomas added two in a 48-14 win over Carrollton. This week a huge test looms as undefeated Minerva comes calling. Previous: 6

7. Wyoming (4-1)
The Cowboys jumped out to a 31-7 halftime lead and cruised to a 37-21 win over Mariemont. Senior QB Robert Gomez threw for 123 yards and three TDs (all went to Johnathan Tighe). Senior RB Drew Perry added 157 yards and a TD on 23 carries. This week Wyoming faces a test on the road at undefeated Maderia. Previous: 7

8. Cincinnati Roger Bacon (5-0)
The Spartans recorded a huge 23-8 win over previously unbeaten Dayton Carroll. Senior QB Tanner Sprong led the way with 181 yards passing and three TDs. This week another huge test awaits with undefeated Fenwick coming to town. It’s also Bacon’s fifth straight home game. Previous: 8

9. Clyde (5-0)
Head coach Marc Gibson picked up his 50th win at Clyde as the Fliers shut out Huron 15-0. It was also the Fliers second shutout this season. This week Clyde travels to Margaretta (3-2). Previous: 9

10. Eaton (5-0)
The Eagles offense gets a lot of the headlines and rightfully so. But…Eaton has proved it has a pretty good defense too. Through five weeks the Eagles have allowed 26 total points. Their latest victim? Dayton Oakwood, which they beat 31-6. Their next victim? Monroe (3-2). Previous: 10
