1. Pickerington Central (4-0)
The Tigers recorded their third shutout in four games by limiting rival Pickerington North to 50 total yards in a 42-0 win. Senior RB Speedy Hammond scored three TDs. This week the Tigers welcome Gahanna-Lincoln (2-3).

2. Hilliard Davidson (5-0)
The Wildcats dominated Thomas Worthington 52-0. Davidson outgained the Cardinals 446-21 in total yards and scored 17 points off turnovers. The Wildcats hit the road to face Central Crossing (1-4) this week.

3. Marion-Franklin (5-0)
The Red Devils forced five turnovers and turned a close game at halftime (7-0) into a decisive win with three second half TDs by Chad Jones. Marion-Franklin hosts Africentric (2-3) this week.

4. New Albany (5-0)
Alex Hake led the Eagles with 131 yards rushing and three TDs in a 35-6 win over Watkins Memorial. New Albany, fueled by two early turnovers, jumped out to a 21-0 lead before Watkins gained a first down. The Eagles host Olentangy Orange (2-3) this week.

5. Hilliard Darby (5-0)
The Panthers make their Power Poll debut based on their undefeated record and the 75-7 defeat they slapped on Central Crossing. Darby led the game 62-7 at the half and outgained the Comets 560-80 in total yards. Senior QB Matt Allen threw for two TDs and ran for two (on just two carries). This week Darby puts its ranking on the line at home against a solid Upper Arlington (4-1) team.

1. Watterson (3-1)
The Eagles had the week off and elevate to No. 1 for the second time this season. This Friday they travel to Greenville (1-4).

2. DeSales (3-2)
The Stallions lost 24-0 on the road at undefeated St. Mary’s Prep (Mich.). This week undefeated rival St. Charles awaits. 

3. Hartley (4-1)
The Hawks beat visiting Cleveland Villa Angela-St. Joseph 37-6 behind the running tandem of Noah Key (115 yards) and Jarrod Zang (123 yards). Kicker Brent Whale also connected on three field goals (38, 32 and 22 yards). This week Hartley hosts Columbus Grove (3-2).

4. Jonathan Alder (4-1)
Senior QB Graham Johnston ran for four TDs and threw for another as the Pioneers crushed rival London 56-12. Alder rushed for 408 yards. The volume gets turned way up this week with a tough road test at unbeaten Ironton.

5. Licking Valley (3-2)
The Panthers held Whitehall-Yearling to one yard of total offense in a 42-0 win. The Rams threw for 20 yards and ran for minus-19. Tregg Hall led the panthers by rushing for 154 yards and three TDs. This week LV hosts Power Poll challenger Granville (4-1) in a big Mid-State League clash.

1. Fredericktown (5-0)
The Freddies led Danville 42-0 at halftime and cruised to a 63-0 shutout win. Matt Smith led the charge by rushing for 167 yards and four TDs on 18 carries. A huge game with visiting Johnstown-Monroe (4-1) looms this week.

2. North Union (5-0)
In the last two weeks the Wildcats have outgained the opposition 937-144 in total yards and have outscored them 119-12. The latest verdict? A 49-6 win over Mt. Gilead. North Union is at River Valley (3-2) this week.

3. West Jefferson (5-0)

The Rough Riders improved to 29-1 in Mid-State League Cardinal Division games over the last five seasons with a 21-7 win over Grandview Heights. QB D.J. Gray led the charge by rushing for two TDs. This week West Jeff hosts Fisher Catholic (0-5).

4. Ready (3-2)
The Silver Knights survived a long road trip and a 46-41 shootout with Holy Cross (Ky.). This week things don’t get any easier with another road game – their third in a row – at Sidney Lehman Catholic (4-1).

5. Newark Catholic (4-1)
The wheels fell off in a 40-7 loss to Heath. The Green Wave turned the ball over five times. Another tough test looms this week with Columbus Academy (3-2) coming to Newark.
