JJHuddle Power Poll Division VI

Despite the fact that the Top 10 went 10-0 this past week, there was some shuffling in the JJHuddle Division VI Power Poll. See who dropped, and who moved up and why…

The Blue Jays made a statement with a convincing 37-13 win over then-D-V No. 2 Anna. Defensively the Blue Jays held the Rockets, who were averaging 469 yards and 44 points per game, to five first downs. This week DSJ is at St. Henry (2-2).  Previous: 1

2. Ada (4-0)

3. Marion Local (4-0)
The Flyers disposed of winless Minster 41-6. Now the heat gets turned up with a visit to D-V No. 5 Anna who is smarting from a loss to Delphos St. John’s. ML and Anna have staged some classics in recent years and this should be another. Previous: 3

Fueled by Britt Wilder who ran for 196 yards and four TDs, the Green Wave solved Lakewood 31-7. This week things get a little tougher with Heath (3-1) heading to town for the home opener. Previous: 5

5. Bucyrus Wynford (4-0)
The Royals increased the state’s longest regular season winning streak to 42 games with a 21-7 win over Lucas. Winless Crestline pays a visit this week but then things get more difficult with Riverdale (3-1), Colonel Crawford (3-1), Buckeye Central (4-0) and Bucyrus (3-1) on the docket in Weeks 6-9. QB Zach Chatlin threw a TD pass and ran for two more TDs in the win over Lucas. Previous: 6

The Buccs keep winning but a 15-8 victory over Tri-County North raises questions. Covington only had seven offensive possessions in the game and lost fumbles on two of them.
