First annual OCC All-Stars vs The City League All-Stars Charity Basketball Game

The Assist Project, a non-profit organization, announces the first
annual OCC All-Stars vs. The Columbus City League All-Stars Charity
Basketball Games, which will be held July 17 starting at 1 p.m. at Ohio Dominican. Three games featuring former men’s and women’s stars from the 1990s and 2000s will be featured.


COLUMBUS – The Assist Project, a non-profit organization, announces the first
annual OCC All-Stars vs. The Columbus City League All-Stars Charity
Basketball Games, which will be held July 17 starting at 1 p.m. at Ohio
Dominican (Alumni Hall Gymnasium located at 1216 Sunbury Rd, Columbus, Ohio 43219).

The OCC All-Stars vs. The City League All-Stars Charity Basketball Game is a community event that will feature high school basketball stars from the past two decades and honor the basketball legends who built the sports traditions that today’s youth stand on. There will be three games, starting with a women’s game at 1 p.m. and followed by two men’s games at 3 p.m. and 5 p.m..  The 3 p.m. game will feature from the City League: Estaban Weaver and Isaac Jefferson from the 1990s as well as Jermaine Guice and Shaun Stonerook representing the OCC.  The 5 p.m. game will feature graduates from the 2000s such as Andrew Lavender, Ron Lewis and Robbie Owens from the City League and Josh Helm and Nate Lenhart of the OCC.

There will also be a youth sports & activities fair where youth organizations will be distributing information as well as registering young people for upcoming activities and other vendors will be present with items and services to sell.
