Spring is here and so is track and field. This edition of the MVP Podcast is dedicated to those who move their feet – fast. Included are interviews with Trotwood-Madison track coach Randy Waggoner, Fast-Twitch’s Andrew Winkler and Power Up’s Doug Merrill, who recently completed a run from Boston to Key West to combat teenage suicide. Consider that we have Trotwood-Madison’s celebrated head track coach Randy Waggoner on, fresh back from the Nike Indoor Track Nationals where his Rams won national titles in both the 4 x 400 and 4 x 200 relays.

Waggoner is a former Nike Outdoor National Track and Field Coach of the Year.

We also have Andrew Winkler, formerly a strength and conditioning coach at Ohio State under Jim Tressel and currently in the employ as a conditioning and combine training specialist of Fast-Twitch Performance in Kettering.

And finally we’ll have Doug Merrill of the Power Up Foundation. A former head baseball coach at Bowling Green High School, Merrill recently completed a staged run from Boston to Key West to promote the foundation and to also bring awareness to the continuing tragedy of teenage suicide.
