17. Ryan Radcliff, Sherwood Fairview, Football, 2004-2008: If it wasn’t for Kenton’s Ben Mauk, Radcliff would be Ohio’s most prolific passer ever. He ranks third all-time in career passing yards (11,038) but owns the top two single-game performances in state history (678 and 650). In fact, Radcliff has five games of over 500 yards. No one else has more than two. Radcliff also ranks third and fourth (behind Mauk) on the single season passing yardage list with 4,738 and 4,611 yards.

In regards to scoring, Radcliff holds the state record (tied with two others) with nine TD passes in a single game. He threw for seven TDs in a game five times. Radcliff ranks second (64) and fourth (57) in TD passes in a season and is second (to Mauk) in TD passes for a career (139).

Radcliff was the MVP of the 2008 Ohio North-South game and holds 14 school single-season and career records.

He also earned four varsity letters in baseball and two in basketball and was drafted in the 34th round of the 2008 Major League Baseball Draft by the Colorado Rockies.

Radcliff is currently a redshirt freshmen at Central Michigan and should become the starter next year with Dan LeFevour graduating.
