The highly anticipated annual has become a celebrated event every
winter when its finally unleashed. The report breaks down the weight classes and
ranks wrestlers and names potential state champions (both individual and team)
in each division.

Some items of interest from the Brakeman Report:

1. Wadsworth snaps St. Edward’s string of 13 consecutive
Division I titles:
Brakeman predicts the Grizzlies will become the first public
school since Nordonia in 1977 to win the big school state championship. It will be
close. “Even” according to Brakeman, who regardless named Wadsworth No. 1.

2. Graham could have nine state champions? After breaking
the 58-year old record of six with seven last year, the Falcons could be on the
verge of breaking that mark again. 300 points? According to Brakemen it’s not
out of the question.

3. Monroeville will run away with the D-III title: Troy
Christian has won three straight state titles, but it will take a Herculean
effort and some luck for the Eagles to do it again. According to Brakeman, this
is the year the Eagles get their team title to go along with all the individual
golds.
