Bryant has made official visits to Ohio State and Michigan State.  He is headed for North Carolina this weekend.

“Yeah, I’m still going,” Bryant said.  “I leave on Friday.”

There is a chance this could be Bryant’s last visit before he announces his choice near the end of this month.

“I’ll
probably go to Miami or Virginia, one of those two on Jan. 22,” Bryant
said.  “Then I’ll announce my decision right after that.  I’ll announce
on Jan. 26.  I’ll have a little press conference at Glenville.  I don’t
know all the details yet.”

Before Bryant makes his announcement he is expected to meet with Jim Tressel.  He spoke with Buckeye assistant Taver Johnson on Tuesday.

“He was just seeing how I was doing and all,” Bryant said.

Bryant said the Buckeyes are still at the top of his list.

“That’s the same,” he said.  “North Carolina would be second.”

Bryant played in the U.S. Army All-American Bowl on Saturday.

Bryant
played cornerback, safety, wide receiver and quarterback during his
senior season.  He also returned kickoffs and handled Glenville’s
punting and kicking duties.  He made 80 plus tackles and had four
interceptions.  Bryant returned two of the pickoffs for touchdowns.  He also had five receiving touchdowns and three rushing.

Kurelic’s Comment:
It would be a pretty big surprise to see Bryant go anywhere but Ohio
State.  Stranger things have happened, but I don’t see the Buckeyes
losing this battle.
