Medina Highland senior Kory Witta continues his fight after suffering a neck injury in the regular season finale.

Kory Wiita has a long road ahead of him, and JJHuddle would like to help him down it. With that being said, JJHuddle will be donating $2 to the Kory
Wiita Benevolent Fund for every forum subscriber we have sign up from
now until the end of the year
(Dec. 31). We recently sent in an initial
donation, but want to send a much larger offering come January.

Wiita, a Medina Highland High School senior, started physical therapy on Monday, Nov. 23, and according to his father Dan’s journal entry at caringbridge.com, it was “almost as shocking and stunning to me as the day he got hurt.”

Everyone needs help, and the Wiita family could use some now.

Everyone who plays sports knows that a life-changing/altering injury could happen at any time – especially in football. I was fortunate enough to play the game through college and never have a teammate experience an injury like Wiita suffered (three fractured vertebra). It happens though.

And so should our support.
