With their potential playoff lives on the line, the Glenville Tarblooders traveled to Huber Heights to take on highly-touted Braxton Miller and the Wayne Warriors in week three.  After going down 13-0 in the first period, Glenville went on a scoring spree led by Shane Wynn and Christian Bryant and came away with a spectacular 57-28 victory.  Here’s how some of that contest looked in pictures.

Bear Westmorland on the receiving end of a 69 yard TD pass from Braxton Miller to give Wayne a 6-0 lead with 10:37 left in the 1st period.

Antone Taylor had 117 yards on 25 carries.

Glenville capitalizes on the next play when Shane Wynn…

…on a 29-yard TD pass to tie the game at 13-13 with 4:07 left in the 1st period.

Toney Foster Jr. – RB/DB – Sr. – gets this lateral from Bryant Christian Bryant on this play. Foster had five carries for 15 yards and played CB on defense and returned a kickoff 27 yards for the Tarblooders.

Latwan Anderson had 3 rushes for 32 yards.

…and ends up scoring a TD 33 yards later as Glenville goes up 20-13 with 9:20 left in the 2nd period.

And on the ensuing play, Nicholas Davis – WR – Jr., gets behind the Wayne secondary on a double reverse pass thrown by Cardale Jones…

…good for a 58-yard TD to give Glenville a 26-13 lead with 7:05 left in the 2nd period.

Christian Bryant had 12 rushes for 100 yards and 1 rushing TD.

In limited action, Cardale Jones was 3 of 6 passing for 79 yards and the one TD pass.

Braxton Miller’s 3 yard TD run cut the deficit to 26-20 with 3:06 left in the second period.

Latwan Anderson also had two pass receptions in the game for 21 yards.

Christian Bryant splits the uprights from 35 yards out to give Glenville a 29-20 lead at the intermission.

Shane Wynn returns the opening kickoff of the second half 99 yards to give the Tarblooders a 36-20 lead with 11:44 left in the third period.

Braxton Miller was 9 of 21 for 130 yards with 3 TDs and one interception.

Caleb Elkins – WR – Sr.

The Glenville defense, led by Jayrone Elliott and Andre Sturdivant on this play, harrassed Braxton Miller all game long.

Tre Moore – DB – Jr. – returned a fumbled center-quarterback exchange 44 yards on this play for a TD with 10:14 left in the 4th period.

Shane Wynn completes the hat trick with a 68-yard TD run on this play to give Glenville a 50-28 lead with 8:18 left in the game.

Robert Walton caps off the scoring with a 17 yard TD run on this play to give the Tarblooders the lead 57-28, the final score, with 4:38 left in the game. Walton had 109 yards on 11 carries and two rushing TDs in the game.
