Ohio’s newly crowned Mr. Basketball, Jared Sullinger, connected on two of his three free throw attempts with just 3 seconds remaining on the clock in the D-I state title game to give Northland their school’s very first state title with a 60-58 win over Princeton. The exciting championship match up featured two junior Ohio State recruits in Sullinger and Princeton’s Jordan Sibert.
