JJHuddle’s Ohio High writers bring home the hardware

Each year the Ohio Prep Sports Writers Association recognizes the top writers in the state.

This year, JJHuddle’s Ohio High editors Eric Frantz and Matt Natali brought home some hardware for coverage from the 2007-08 school year.


Each year the Ohio Prep Sports Writers Association recognizes the top writers in the state.

This year, JJHuddle’s Ohio High editors Eric Frantz and Matt Natali won awards for coverage from the 2007-08 school year.

Frantz (Managing Editor) picked up five awards, including first and second place for the enterprise/investigative category, second place for column and third place for news story and feature. 

Natali (Assistant Editor) had four awards including second place for game story, second and fourth places for news story and third place for column.

The awards were in the Division I category, which includes all the major newspapers in the state (Cleveland Plain Dealer, Cincinnati Enquirer, Columbus Dispatch, Dayton Daily News, Toledo Blade and Akron Beacon Journal).

Frantz and Natali received their awards at a banquet in Columbus on Wednesday.
