Cleveland John Adams defensive end Micah Robinson was a guest of the Buckeyes at one of their home games this season and says Ohio State is one of his favorite schools.
Cleveland John Adams defensive end Micah Robinson is one of the top prospects in the greater Cleveland area.
The 6-foot-4 and 240-pound Robinson registered 19 sacks during his junior season as John Adams finished with an 8-2 record.
Robinson has been a varsity starter at both defensive end and offensive tackle since his freshman year. He is being recruited as a defensive player.
Robinson runs the 40-yard dash in 4.8 seconds and has a 29-inch vertical jump. He stays on his feet well and is relentless in his pursuit.
Robinson is receiving mail from Ohio State, Illinois, UCLA, Buffalo, Toledo and some others. He attended one of the Buckeyes’ home games this past season.
“I went to the Ohio State-Penn State game,” Robinson said. “I liked it a lot. I liked the way Ohio State does things. I talked to coach (Taver) Johnson while I was there.”
Robinson has not made it to any junior days to this point, but said he might attend a Toledo basketball game.
When asked which schools he is interested in, Robinson said, “I like Ohio State, and I like Illinois too. I also like Penn State. And Cincinnati is another one I like.”
