Colerain’s Mills selects Cincinnati; Reynolds gets offer as well

On the heels of another outstanding season, Cincinnati Colerain players are deciding their future plans. According to the Cincinnati Enquirer, defensive tackle Brandon Mills has committed to the University of Cincinnati, while quarterback Doug Reynolds picked up an offer from Eastern Illinois.

Colerain senior defensive tackle Brandon Mills has orally committed to the University of Cincinnati, the Cincinnati Enquirer reported this morning.

Mills, who is 5-10 and 260 pounds, had 60 tackles, 12.5 sacks and 27.5 tackles for a loss, according to the newspaper.

Colerain made it to the regional final before it lost to eventual state champion St. Xavier.

Mills reportedly was offered by UC over the weekend and committed on Sunday, according to Colerain coach Tom Bolden.

Bolden also told the Enquirer today senior quarterback Doug Reynolds was offered by Eastern Illinois this morning. Reynolds is expected to visit Buffalo at the end of the month.

-Also today, the Enquirer reports St. Xavier senior linebackers Evan Miller and Nick Schneider have made college commitments.

Miller has orally committed to play at Columbia, while Schneider has committed to Yale. Both were on the Bombers’ state championship team this past season.

-Withrow coach Doc Gamble told the Enquirer senior free safety Joshua Smith has orally committed to Ball State. Smith also considered others – reportedly visiting Ohio University and Eastern Michigan in December.
