The Panthers have just one postseason win the last five years, but expectations are heightened.

Although team defense and rebounding are slight concerns, speed, athleticism, ball-handling and 3-point shooting are all strengths.

Senior Dana Finney is a four-year starter who returns after averaging 11.6 points and 7.6 assists last season. Meibers said Finney has “great handles.”

Other key contributors will be seniors Deb Reisinger, Jazman Leach and Tiera Burrows; and sophomores Danny Smith and Sharice Clark. Clark was the team’s top rebounder last season (6.5 boards), while Burrows is also a four-year starter.
