Welcome to the 21st edition of Ohio High Magazine!

On the heels of our September issue, we come out in our Jumbo set with a jam-packed issue full of Ohio high school sports information that cannot be found anywhere else.

The November issue features both our boys and girls basketball previews and breaks down the top players and teams to watch in each division. Player features on Lakewood St. Edward’s Delvon Roe (Michigan State), Massillon Perry’s Kenny Frease (Xavier), Sandusky Perkins’ Cierra Bravard (undecided) and South Euclid Regina’s Shay Selby (Duke) accompany our previews.

Editor-in-Chief Steve Helwagen (with help from hoopscooponline.com’s Chris Johnson and Tom Jenkins of the Ohio Girls Basketball Report) also presents recruiting updates for both boys and girls basketball. Is Toledo Libbey senior and Ohio State recruit William Buford still the state’s top senior? If not who is?

In addition to basketball, we preview Ohio’s other marquee winter sport – wrestling. As usual Lakewood St. Edward and St. Paris Graham are the early and heavy favorites in D-I and II, respectively, while Troy Christian is out to defend its D-III title.

For the football fan we have plenty to entertain as well.

Our annual football playoff preview is one of the featured pieces in the issue, as is a report on the top Mr. Football candidates. Assistant editor Matt Natali also checks in with a feature on future Buckeye and current Cincinnati LaSalle receiver DeVier Posey. Recruiting editor Duane Long has an updated list of his top senior and junior football recruits and ESPN’s Top 150 national football seniors are also listed.

In addition to these features, we have much, much more on high school sports in Buckeye State!
