The Quakers should be one of the top contenders in Region 11. The move from Division II should help when all of the computer points are compiled at the end of the season. More importantly, New Philly should be a team that is able to post a nine or 10-win season, especially with what ECOL foes Dover and Cambridge lost in the offseason.
“We only lost two offensive and three defensive starters,” Dennison pointed out. “One of our biggest strengths is experience. We’ll have a lot of veteran kids on the field who have experience in games. It also always helps when you’ve got a D-I quarterback. He’s got a great arm and has a veteran line to throw and run behind.
“The biggest thing we’re talking about in the offseason is consistency. We hope to be able to finish games and be more consistent on offense, which I think we’re capable of doing.
“We were the ECOL champs two consecutive years and dropped off last year. We want the ECOL title back. We also strive to make the playoffs every year and feel good about our chances this season. I feel this team has a lot of potential, but it’s just putting it all together on the field,” Dennison finished.
